Committee Volunteers wanted
The Molesworth Arms, the pub in Pyworthy, is up for sale and the community would like to buy it and use it as a community asset. We already have lots of ideas to help the community all the way from Bude to Holsworthy including a warm hub in winter, a loneliness hub throughout the year and a not for profit community events venue. To do this we need a committee of volunteers who can give some of their spare time to fund raising, marketing, business planning, membership management and a whole host of other things needed to set up a community pub. Sadly Pyworthy village itself only have a few people who feel able to offer the project the skills it needs so we are looking for volunteers from the wider community to help. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and contribute to the community, so if you are interested please mail info@pyworthy-parish.co.uk.
